Should You Pull for Hinagiku Akiba?

A Strong Case for Pulling Hinagiku Akiba

Should You Pull for Hinagiku Akiba

Overview

TLDR: Hina officially redefines what it means to be a role compressor by doing literally everything. Solid DPS? Check.
Absurd break values? Check. Best debuff in the game on top of a mass taunt which actually matters now? Double check. Have skill
issues? Hold left click. Don’t have skill issues? You can double up with her charge punch and deflect to break even faster.
Charging her strategy skill is faster than you’d think and only gets better with dupes. Speaking of which, her dupes are
insane—every single one is actually good, including her potential gems since she has two very usable passives on top of
great numbers to scale with Fighting Instinct.

Oh, and there’s even a new substat dedicated for her to hit even harder. And if you’re still not convinced, I didn’t even
mention the obvious part of her having a 1‑bar Ultimate with the highest defense shred in the game (yes, even higher than
Jio’s) to let Bombard nuke even harder. And I almost forgot: her AI is actually solid, and can ACTUALLY DEFLECT
ENEMIES
. Hina is the first SS‑tier character and it’s not even close.

Why Hinagiku Akiba?

Pros:

  • Unbelievable Break Values: 135 / 210 / 1200. It’s not even funny how ridiculous these numbers are, and unlike similar
characters she doesn’t have “slow animations” as an issue.
  • Unbelievable Damage: High base numbers plus high scaling off Passive-1 make her charge punches deal absurd damage,
and her strategy skill is effectively a mini-Enoki.
  • Unbelievable Utility: 30% defense shred to the entire field is absurd for a 1‑bar Ultimate, now with the addition of
    Backstab+.
  • Unbelievably Easy: You know how Saigo can just hold a button and win? Yeah, Hina does that but also does real damage.
Charge Punch can deflect anything that isn’t a beam or explosion, and her animations are surprisingly fast. Her AI can
actually use her kit to deflect—uniquely hers.

Cons:

  • N/A: Hina has no real drawbacks beyond technicalities. Outdamaged by pure DPS characters? Maybe. Can run out of
stamina on a full rotation? Possibly. Destroyer has non‑deflectable attacks? Sure. But these are just nitpicks.

Final Verdict

Q: Should you pull for Hinagiku Akiba?

A: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Hina does literally everything—her weakest job (DPS) is still equivalent to S‑tier. Her breaking and
support utility are so unbelievable that I can’t imagine her kit ever being power‑crept. With no real flaws and pure upsides
for any team, Hina has earned her SS‑tier placement.
