Reroll Process
The process for rerolling in is incredibly simple, since the developers included a way to streamline the process. The time it takes to complete one reroll is only 1-2 minutes long, faster than most other gacha games. This is because you only need to complete the tutorial once, as the method for rerolling in the game, deleting the player data, allows you to skip the tutorial entirely.
Upon finishing the tutorial and claiming all rewards from the mail, you should have enough for 10 Synchros. It is highly recommended that you do a 10x Synchro on the character pick-up synchro as the standard synchro has a chance to give Tension Cards, or the game's version of weapons, which will not be very necessary in the beginning of the game.

Reroll Targets
The top target to reroll for is usually going to be the rate-up character, as they tend to be very strong in the meta. In version 1.0, depending on when you start, the rate-up character will be either Tsuruko Semba or Kazuki Aoyama, both of which are incredibly strong characters who we don't see falling off anytime soon.
Additionally, each of the four standard 3 star characters, Miu Jujo, Enoki Yukigaya, Jio Takinogawa, and Q, are great additions to your team, so getting any of them early will be incredibly beneficial. Out of those four, the only one we would recommend less than the others is Enoki due to her high risk, high reward gameplay that may be difficult for those just starting out, however she is just as good, if not better, than the rest of the standard characters.
Tsuruko Semba
How can a character be both a top tier support and DPS? By having two powerful yet viable specs based on which passive you level up. Tsuruko is the first limited character in Tribe Nine, and proves her power through her sheer versatility and high amounts of DPS. As she damages enemies she charges up her Unending Twilight; once maxed, Tsuruko creates a large field that empowers her strategy skill and can either heals allies based on the damage she deals (further enhanced with her first passive), or remove the healing entirely to deal bonus damage based on her support stat (by levelling her second passive). With two very different builds, Tsuruko can fulfill different roles for your team all while doing her job better than most of her competition. Her only real weakness is her spotty AI; she's definitely best played manually to fully maximize her potential damage and/or supportive capabilities.
Pros/Cons
- Top Tier Support
- Top Tier DPS
- Requires her Zone
- No Damage Ultimate
Jio Takinogawa
Jio is a solid all rounder in theory, but in reality his primary reason to be played is his unique 25% armor shred and ability to deal decent break damage. Jio's main gimmick comes from his Venom, a damage over time [DOT] debuff that deals a little damage per tick based on how many stacks are on the enemy. When the Venom reaches its cap it will detonate, dealing AOE damage to all nearby enemies. While the damage can be improved, including making the detonation crit, it's not enough to consider him a main DPS when compared to the dedicated DPS characters. His break damage is also quite good, but not exceptional enough to call him a dedicated breaker. However, no other character in the game can apply armor shred, which combined with the above factors results in a surprisingly good character.
Pros/Cons
- Lethal Debuff
- Great AOE
- Average Overall
Q
Q comes winging in as a fairly underwhelming character upon initial impression. However, while he may lack an immediately obvious and abusable trait he makes up for by simply doing everything well. Make no mistake; Q is no DPS or breaker. He's outclassed on both fronts by dedicated characters. But he splits the difference well enough to stand out off of pure role compression, while also being a very strong tank. His strategy skill Declaration applies a global taunt once it is fully cast, then enters [Berserk] state allowing him to automatically dodge attacks with the first two attacks of his primary string or counterattack on the third. This is not reliable in the slightest and really just serves to cover a mistake you may have made. He also gets a new strategy skill (Frantic Impale) which deals decent damage and break for a low stamina cost. As AI Q is notably quite bad, it is highly suggested to manually pilot Q to ensure a smoother battle.
Pros/Cons
- Jack of all Trades
- Great Counterattack
- Master of None
- Manual Preferred
Enoki Yukigaya
Wielding a massive claymore and even more massive damage, Enoki is a powerhouse DPS who embodies high risk and high reward. Her main form of damage comes from her strategy skill Grill Impact, a massive leaping attack that deals nearly half the damage of most characters ultimates. However, she can only use this ability once her heat is stacked up. Heat can be acquired in a few ways; the fourth hit of her primary attack string, her secondary attack, her counterattack, and by extension of her unique perfect evasion derivation attack, her perfect dodge attack. However, if she gets hit by any attack from the enemy ALL of her heat will be removed. Combined with her low defenses and second passive draining her own life to further increase her damage output results in one of the riskiest but rewarding characters in Tribe Nine.
Pros/Cons
- Nigh Uncontested DPS
- Good Breaker
- Snowballing Damage
- Inherently Risky
- Manual Only
- Awkward Teammate
Miu Jujo
Miu is a high damaging DPS with solid DPS and possibly the strongest ultimate in the game once charged To charge her ultimate, she first needs to use her strategy skill Vertical Crystal to drop down a turret. Enemies that take damage within its AOE will build charge for it each time they take damage. While it may take a little time to fully charge her ultimate, she can acquire a large amount of charge by using her chain attack. While Miu is mostly flawless, she has very poor break values on her primary and secondary attacks, and her turret does none at all. As such, she does rely on her teammates to give her the break she needs to both fund her ultimate and help her get charge. However, this downside is easily made irrelevant as bosses tend to melt once hit her with her fully charged ultimate, costing only one bar to activate and dishing out up to 20 hits of high damage made more damaging by levelling her second passive.
Pros/Cons
- Great DPS
- Lightning Fast
- Life Bar Melting Ultimate
- Poor Breaker
- Melee Counterattack
Summary
In conclusion, rerolling in Tribe Nine is incredibly easy and definitely worth doing since any character you get will help you progress in the story. Good luck and happy rolling!
